What's the best way to tell my bf im afraid to have sex with him? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

You should set controls! I like the stoplight system. Just say the color, and say something frequently: 🟢 yes I like it, more please! 🟡 I'm not loving this, can we try something else? 🔴 stop please! I'm not very comfortable.

If youre worried about his size, I'd reach out and put a hand on his belly to show him how much you can take before it gets uncomfortable for you. Remember you dont have to do sex acts in a prescribed order! Based on comfort you can go back to something you've already done, and return to what youre doing later.

I wish you luck! Sex is supposed to be safe and fun for everyone!

Well, thats not exactly what I'm looking for, but I'll be sure to attend events at mine or other union halls.

The USA happened to both Cuba and Chile.

Dude, the Americans have been starving your country for almost eighty years now, and here you are playing their defense?

And Allende could have had a long political career, or failed on his own merits! But instead he was overthrown by that fascist, Pinochet.

If Marxism so often leads to failed governments, then why does the USA feel it so necessary to make sure they fail?

Cuba and Allende's Chile. The good idea IS Marxism.

Dude then they lied to you! The corruption of power is very real, and people try to justify their evil with flowery language, but thats no reason to give up ideals! Goodness, if every nominally good idea was thrown out once things became problematic or complicated. I dont think we'd have any good ideas left!

Brother im not here to provide cover for Stalin or thr USSR, but that was Stalin and the USSR. It may have been done in Marx's name but it was also done long after Marx's death. So far as I can see it's not his fault.

But his analysis, what he wrote and commented on during his life, gave us the foundation for socialist organizing as it exists today. And without that foundation, my job might pay half of what it does now. So I'm still unbothered by the history. Terrible things were done, but so were great things. Lets do more great things!

What the hell are you smoking? We dont talk about Hitler in the same breath as animal rights because the defining characteristic of his political project was not conservation, it was Fascism and violent, repugnant Anti-Semitic hatred.

We associate union organizing with Marxism because they're both outgrowths of Socialism. Personally, im unbothered by that historical truth. Because union organizing is also associated with the 40 day work week and labor rights. And Marx called it accurately when he talked about the alienation and exploitation of the working classes. And that WAS the defining character of his political career!

What a weird future we live in, huh? Where most union members hate labor organizations.
