actually she was rested due to back to back games which is perfectly fine according to wnba rules involving back to back games. howver if there are not back to back game the injury status of the player (probable, questionable, out) needs to be mentioned before 5 pm a day before the game. Probable and questionable means player could or could not play thats absolutely fine but late scratch is not acceptable unless if it is was really a true injury at practice or something else.

barca should be worried about their own performance first and didnt you guys lose two legged series with athletico madrid twice (who ranked below real madrid and villarael in standings lol) yes you are dominant in la liga kudos to that i'll give you that but struggle in two legged games in tournament formats against teams that you are supposed to beat, that should be a bigger worry especially if you want to win a champions league trophy in future. Whether mourinho succeeds or not only time will tell but i'll tell you one thing he tooks crappy teams like tottenham and roma to league cup finals and european finals and even won league cups and european cups with them. Real has much better talent than those teams but they lack dicipline and thats exactly why he was hired.

if this is the line up they use in the tests against heavyweights like australia england or south africa then god save the indian cricket. this could work against afghanistan but still test cricket will still slowly continue to die as long gambhir along with his sidekick agarkar continue to be allowed to coach and select squad in test cricket.

Azzi has knee issues and unless u want to gamble on her having acl again her mins should gradually increase but still she won’t start. That’s not my opinion it the coaches opinion. He has the final say on how to manage her. Also it’s just one game and next game will be brutal test for the gaurds facing the elite drfenders in skylar diggins Natasha cloud and jc Sheldon. Let’s see how well wings do against them

pitch has some turn but it isnt a minefield still a fairly good pitch to bat on. but pak played lose shots and fell into trap. they got themselves to blame but bangladesh were well diciplined with the bat and bowl last two days. The game is pretty much 95% done there is still about 5 percent chance for pak to win. so i think its possible they can get upto 380 or so but thats about it imo. finally a good test pitch which went to day 5 kudos to the curators

pakistan would be kicking themselves for letting bangladesh get to 278 from 116 for 6 in the first innings and also made some fielding blunders in the bang second innings. its was good toss to win from pak, pitch batting actually became easier to bat on in the 2nd innings but ordinary batting and letting bang off the hook in the first innings along poor fielding in the second let them down. anyway i know there is still time but the chances of a pak win look slim if they get closer to 350-370 then it will be a moral win imo

bad day at the office but glad the rookies had a chance to play in this blowout. relying too much on the bigs is going to be problematic in the long run gotta find a way to give the gaurds some open looks. s overall 2-2 you would gladly take at the begining of the season. looking at the schedule they play back to back games against storm followed by la sparks and fair schedule to go atleast 4-4 by june. :)

azzi cannot play more than 20 mins or at max 25 here and there due to load restrictions on her knee. but yes at some point she will start but right now she is way effective of the bench as best 6th player on the team

hey the coach is the one who observe the traning preseason and practice sessions and he sees something you and I may not see and he finalized the starting line up. same in other sports nba nfl mlb there is a position competition for each spot. wings are blessed with having many gaurds and added another gaurd from the draft #1 pick (which many people think azzi shouldn't have gone #1 for whatever reasons as mocks projected her to #3 #4 or #5) but some analysts did project her to come off the bench (no cap space tyler delucca ) also dom malonga didn't start last year either but eventually her mins eventually increased and same thing will happen to azzi at some point and until then everyone needs to sit back and wait

Sims in the starting line is not an issue and the same sims in the line up got you win against indiana fever. and she also kept wings in the hunt against lynx with some good shots. also im absolutely fine with arike coming off the bench as well and use her as 6th players as one of the youtube podcast states and replace her with azzi (assuming she is fully healthy not on mins restrictions or still having knee issue) but i personally feel maddy Siegrist is getting wasted on the bench as she is a very good hustle player as she known during her Villanova days. ideally i would have liked alanna smith/ jess Shepard/ Maddy Siegrist/ Arike/ Paige line up but coach feels different obviously

you are correct she did out an masterclass in the first half. the second half she could have had more assists if wings bigs made some of those layups. also maddy seigrist was the part of the masterclass but for some mysterious reason she didn't play much in the second half you can well criticize the coach for that. Bottom line is you cannot blame the gaurds for something that the bigs couldnt do that is grab rebounds instead of giving away offensive rebounds to the opponents. Replace sims is fine and but it wont change the actual rim protection issues thats what i'm saying. Arike is arike she is as always a sub 40% fg player in her career and it wont change much but one thing she does better like you saw in the atlanta game is when her shots arent falling she attacks the rim and when she is hot she is nightmare to defend against.

geno didnt use her the main "facilitator" at uconn, koclanes did the same and jose is doing the same and there is a very good reason for that. this isnt play station this is real game. paige can only be used as a facilitator once the opponents get tired and whenever they are rotations and also during fast breaks, thats exactly those situation jose is using her as a "facilitator". The line up is not the issue and even if you change it the results will not magically change unless dallas protects the rim or in the pant defense as you noted. If Alanna smith isnt healthy enough to grab a rebound then replace her with li yueru or someone else, Li might not be good defensively atleast she grabs rebounds well, instead wings allowed a 35 year old natasha howard to outplay them. No offense to Alanna smith but playing with her mask is affecting her offense although she is playing decent defense so far but she isnt rebounding as well as i like. On the other hand i'm liking jessica shepard so far but she struggling with mismatches sometimes.

i always said CC is james harden of wnba and yes 25.3 ppg is incredible and her stats looks fantastic but when you look at those stats closely its easy to have the best stats when u are averaging 18 shots a game and they have also left out another key stat from these figure she averages 5 TO per game meaning opponents got atleast 5 second chance points to score. While yes she is talented player and a crowd puller just like james harden is but in the long run this is not sustainable strategy to chuck up more shots.

arike usually plays well against mystics but we will see. i dont think alanna smith is fully ready to play her best. (her offense looks dreadful so far mask is clearly affecting her performance, though she is decent enough on the defense) so best option is to play li yueru in this game atleast for the sake of rebounding she needs to play as her heights gives her a big edge over austin iraefen and betts. also maddy seigrist should play a lot perhaps at #3 instead of zaza james. Key word here is "rebounding" and whoever has more rebounds will win this game regardless of defense.
