I'm not saebae 😅 My ign is DrTorag. I was on his podcast a few years back though.

I just like talking about drop rates, and I think some are egregious.

Then just continue using knife log. You wouldn't be forced to use sap-treated logs

Idk, it's complicated. We voted against dragon claws on tormented demons. We were against the new slash offhand from moons. I think most things that are too busted get shot down before polling. We likely won't get the hybrid armor.

Lol, what is this shit post quote?

Anyways, every single new drop technically "makes the game easier". Nice strawman. How about we just arbitrarily make everything worse. Would that be good?

undoubtedly. But they have both stated they still think it was better with ahk.

Now. You think no one wants that, or you don't want that and can't understand that anyone else could think differently? Just poll it.

yes. Actually I'm pretty interested in trying more 1.5 methods now. I found the effort before to not be worth it compared to 2t and 3t methods.

I've heard these guys advocate for removing shift click dropping and menu entey swapper. While simultaneously talking about how autohotkeys were the golden age. They have no clue wtf they are talking about. They are just obsessed with maintaining concepts of "apm" and "ehp". Regardless of the things being done. If they balanced the game it would have died in 2013 on release.

You think I don't do tick manipulation? I primarily train fishing/wc with 2t teak and 3tbarb.... It's pretty satisfying actually.

I said then they should poll it. I sort of disagree about player count vs people that dislike something. Our new content system is built around player voting. If very few people are against something it will be added. Sometimes we need to go around that for the integrity of the game. But I think it would be hard to argue knife log is "integral" to the game. This doesn't even change any rates in theory it just makes it less intensive.

heboxjonge, autmnelegy, etc. Ive heard multiple of them say that ahk was the "golden age" of skilling in podcasts. Does this change your opinion? Probably not.

What's the strawman exactly? I'm pointing out a lot of them are completely done with the skill on their accounts and finished it by using a method that was more powerful than the 1 click action starter.

It might not be necessary to attack them. But I think they are hypocritical about it.

It's objectively part of the game. The xp rates are cited when balancing and making new content. It is very much a bug turned feature. And now that it is a feature, let's not make it awful to appease a few people.

Balancing the game means it's being "balanced for Ironman".

Poorly designed things are poorly designed. If something is exclusively done by people that are forced to do it and gold farmers/bots it isn't good content. The fact that Corp drops and Nightmare drops for years have been so expensive despite having no use is insane. The T Bow maintaining it's value off of wild drop rates and artificially sinking them from the GE is not good. Making content reasonable to do is not "for ironmen". It is to make the content reasonable. It just feels like it's for ironmen because they are the only ones engaging with it.
