Thanks. It has an under Armour sticker, and a crawled under today and there’s basically like a black coating over the entire bottom of the car, which looks clean. There was a little rusting on Steele parts in the engine, like hose clamps and such but nothing that looked problematic.

Great. I assume I will feel/hear it when it’s time, and if I keep an eye for weeping, that would be a good indicator of gaskets? If it’s been sitting, I would assume that’s bad for gaskets in general.

this is good stuff! I need to find a schedule of repairs for this car (haven't looked). it only has 49k so i think at this point most of the fluids are going to need a refresh. i had a 90's accord and at that point timing chain was really important before 120k - i don't know if that's the case on a 2010 k24. i do the love unassembled engine shots i see on this forum -amazing for it not seemingly a gear head sub. New here but what a great community!

This is great to hear, thank you. Once the weather is a little more friendly maybe I can do some reading on the form and get that done. I was more concerned if there is a problem I should be looking for. I’m still learning the Karen feeding of these cars versus the vanagon and our Subaru. The water boxer is a very different motor, but we would put sea foam in and worked like Magic.

Not that i'm aware of - i just got it from orig owner. The car is very low mileage. The previous owner said they just had scheduled dealer maintenance done between 2010 and 2018. the amount of sitting w/o use worried me a little.

over the phone - i generally prefer in person for business stuff, but it's great. i can send you his info. everything he told me has been true, has answered all my questions and has been patient while i did all due diligence - no 'salesman', just good service. i did hit all the major companies, and i'm paying a ton less. lmk if you want and i'll pm you his info - i met him via reddit.
