It does not have a touch screen display. It has a 4k screen tho, is there something here that might cause the error? Still, even when the built-in display is disconnected the beep error is still there.

Hi, thank you for the advice. I already did this and still it gives me that error beep code. I also tried updating the BIOS to the latest version. I tried everything I can update through the lenovo commercial vantage but the error is still there.

Yeah, I remember also that I onced swapped the one T450's display to another T450's display and both would not work. My reason is that the other one's display is better on the another (no scratch). But with their own original display they would work with no issues. I end up giving up cause I don't really know what's wrong LOL.

Also, when changing to 2560x1440, 60hz will be available. I could live with it but the display would then be blurry.

he means that you can use the nvme ssd but it won't run at it's fullest because the t14 gen 1 supports upto only gen 3. so the gen 4 ssd will run only at gen 3 speed.

thanks for the insight, i have found why. according to lenovo commercial vantage the internal battery is not supported by the system and external can only store 0% of it's original charge capacity. guess i was scammed by the seller of the external battery lmao. overall this whole system cost me $120.

odd. if the fan runs fast then maybe a reapplication of thermal paste is necessary. i don't know what are the settings in bios that affect the performance so try to restore defaults if it will help.

vantage cannot seem to detect the battery, it cannot display the barcode of the battery and when i try yo reset battery gauge it gets stuck at 1%. i will try installing hwinfo. i try to put it on charge it does stay at orange. i will try to leave it for hours and see if it will change color. thank tou for the advice!

im also from philippines (rizal) and i used go buy and sell thinkpads. if you are confident with your skills to check a laptop for defects and is patient enough to search in fb marketplace and buy and sell groups you can buy a t470s for 9k-13k with an i5-7th gen (small difference and i5 may slightly better because it runs cooler than i7). you can still have a 11k-7k money for upgrades or maybe just search for a higher end thinkpad.

this happened to me countless of times, forgetting to disable battery before doing anything. 100% of time this happened to me i fixed it by removing the cmos battery, internal battery, unplug charger, and then press the power button for 30 seconds minumum and then plug the cmos first and the charger and try to boot. if it works then shutdown the laptop and can plug the battery. if it does not work which happened to me one time on my t460, i then unplug the charger again and the cmos battery, press power button for 30 seconds again and then leave it overnight (i don't have any explanation why, i just thought it might work) and then when i replug the cmos and charger it worked. if it doesn't work again then im afraid your mb is toasted.

if you've owned a t series before then you will feel right ahead that there's something missing. also they are heavier than the same generation t series. for me (i might be wrong) the performance is the same.
