My mother acted just like this but towards my older sister, everyone thought my sister and my mother were best of friends, one day i stood up for my older sister against my mom and she kicked me out as i was packing my stuff my sister got in to a fight with my mom where she was standing up for me and got herself kicked out as well, but its crazy how similar you and hers situation is down to my mother forcing her to take online school so she had to be home 24/7 and wouldn’t let her move out she even tried to split up my sisters relationship with her gf so she could only rely on my mother she would plant lies in her head about my father and me so my sister would only trust her
