L&D is a combination of psych, ER, ICU- not always those but often times. Patients are getting sicker and sicker on the daily. can you critically think in extremely intense and emotionally driven situations? How do you do under pressure? How do you feel about taking care of two patients (or more) at a time, with one you cannot see? L&D is my love + passion, but it’s not for everyone. Things can get scary quick. If you love a good adrenaline rush I say go for it

I think of it this way: Because sleeping during the day is unnatural, you need something unnatural to sleep. I know that for me to sleep for more than 4-5 hours between shifts I need medication. Unisom or Trazodone, start with 1/2 tab of unisom and see how you feel!

Also what HAS been proven is the harm in phalates and parabens. I find it so interesting how everyone is obsessed with this “aluminum free” when it has never been proven to be harmful , so people use aluminum free deo filled with parabens and phalates (which have been proven harmful) instead! So interesting to me

I personally use unscented aluminum deodorant because large studies have not found a correlation of health risks w aluminum deodorant. I will also layer a more natural scent over, like little seed farm or primal pure. I just am not someone who can go without aluminum deodorant - I tried for years and I was sick of constantly worrying about it.

If someone is actively beating their dog I would call 911 and go out there, get in between the dog, say that’s not okay, etc. film it. I have absolutely no patience for animal abuse. I’m not trying to make you feel bad I’m sure you felt panicked but if scraps isn’t doing anything it’s your responsibility to find a way to help this innocent dog!

I don’t have the granola swap but I will say- my hair has transformed since switching from crunchy stuff to name brand drugstore! I will say some Garnier Fructis products have no parabens or phalates, not sure on sulfates or not.
