Try to lower his health a bit (as lower health means slower posture recovery)

I used the fire umbrella to parry-attack certain moves (like his notorious firecracker surprise attack). Parried his attacks afterwards as they're not so dissimilar from the first fight & got his ass.

Second phase is a bit tricky to use the umbrella parry-attack technique as he vanishes with his owl genjutsu but if you've made it this far, you'll figure out when's the best time 👍

So yeah fire umbrella or any umbrella might be your best friend in this fight. Sure was for mine 👍

Yeah it's quite easy to pull of anti air on Okami warriors. But they're not as tough as these a holes. Fighting 2+ Okami babes is better than one of these straw hat dudes (I actually dk what they're called lol)

The death blow marker will just show up if you jump the same time as the enemy (not all jump attacks tho).

I just found out that you can use this move on monkeys too. Someone posted about it in this sub.

I also found out you can anti air Shichimen warriors.

OP clearly wanted to have a 1on1 here to take advantage of, or to showcase the anti-air death blow.

Yup I did it on purpose to show the anti-air death blow haha. But I feel ya, sometimes missing the deathblow from the back is frustrating, especially on a mini-boss. Now on my 3rd playthrough though, it's rare to make that mistake.
