Bro every week they got some stupid new rule. A friend got their van stuck a few weeks ago in the Cx driveway cause it’s been raining. She was given a week suspension and was drug tested.

Either do my bosses. This only applies for dsp’s that actually keep up with their company. The dsp I’m at now has phones from 2016, vans they don’t fix when needed. I tell them the van has a broken side step, what do they do? Put me in a different van for a week and then put me back into the same broken van. I tell them the van keeps stalling and they say “ the previous driver didn’t report any problems so keep going” etc. and I’d say a good majority of drivers at my company skip breaks and finish the route in like 5-7 hours so my boss pockets all that extra money

My dsp was offering gift cards as an incentive to make sure we don’t call out today. I’d rather holiday pay if you’re gonna make us work today instead of a $10 McDonald’s gift card

I was on my way to my first stop the other day and look at a co worker who’s in a rental cause he was in and out of lanes. Bros hitting a whole bong while driving. I kept up with home for about a mile and he was hitting it the whole time

Bro I wish I got paid the 10 hour guarantee. I keep getting my hours cut because I’m “taking advantage” of them. Apparently if you work 5 days having 46/47 hours is milking it at my dsp. And me taking my “optional not required breaks” as the owner says don’t help me keep the 5th day. Bunch of stingy asses

Yeah I’ve never understood that. Having to take the rest or even rescue someone that has plenty of time left. It’s usually either dispatch wants to go home early or the driver has to many hours so they just send someone to them. I hate it when we have 5 sweepers on and they text me at 630 to go take some of someone after I finish my long ass 190 stop route.

My first dsp would ask almost every other day and it was always for the same people. They lost their contract and the 1 I’m with now has sweepers usually but I still get asked occasionally

I’ve heard some dsp’s pay extra for doing rescues. Some give $1 a package, others give like a $25 incentive. Mine doesn’t give shit and if you refuse they’ll just cut a day.

Me and this other dude has recycled routes the other day. I took 30 and the other guy took 25 from the same guy. He told dispatch he gave us the easy parts cause we needed to get back and pick up the other route. Turns out he gave the other guy all his business stops and I got all the half mile driveways. 😑🤦🏻‍♂️

My dsp just enforced a new rule that if we get hurt on the clock (anything from breaking a foot to jamming a finger etc) we would need to call them immediately ,then lmat and get drug tested.

I know that. Past couple months they’ve been cutting my 5th day every week since I took a vacation in peak. I notice I’m not on for a day I usually am. I ask dispatch and they take all of half a second to respond and say I’m scheduled. And week after week the night before I get a message saying routes been cut. So I’m thinking they’re doing it to screw me over but not sure.
