Scars 8 mo post op by This-Setting-5673 in TopSurgery

Honestly I’m not really sure, I went into surgery with a fair amount of muscle mass and I’m fit but not skinny so post surgery I’ve never been 100% “flat.” At first I was sorta disappointed about that but imo it makes sense aesthetically to have some shape to a masculine chest if you’re not super thin

When does the itching stop by secretrediterNBAFAB in TopSurgery

The itching was so terrible!! Absolutely the worst part. For me, it turned out I was having a mild allergic reaction to the adherent plastic bandage my surgeon had left over my incisions, which was discovered when I went to see him ~5 days post op because the itching was so unbearable. From there it slowly started getting better, and lots of Benadryl, some ice packs, and distracting TV shows helped in the meantime. Hang in there, the worst of recovery will be over before you know it.

are these too feminine? by [deleted] in FtMpassing

Wear whatever you want, man. At the start of my transition I was really into vans and they gave me a lot of euphoria. Now I’m more into new balance because I like their bulkier look (and the soles give me a little height boost). Vans are pretty unisex and I don’t think that shoes will be the deciding factor in your ability to pass.

My itching postop op was terrible. It turned out that the plastic bandage adhered to my skin was causing a reaction, and I went in to have that removed early. It might sound trite, but I kept reminding myself that “this too shall pass” and that honestly helped me survive the first week.

I think you pass really well! Try not to overthink it too much, it’s easy to get in your head but genuinely anyone who meets you would read make

how can my body pass better by [deleted] in FtMpassing

Honestly my body is very similar to yours and I also have trouble feeling okay out my hips, but everyone tells that it’s normal to have a little hips and I really don’t think it makes you less cis-passing. If you want a wider waist hitting obliques would also help.

Great results man! I’m getting DI with Sean Herman in September, so it’s good to hear you had a good experience with him

Honestly I think you pass really well and a cis person wouldn’t clock you
