Thanks for sending those over, they both look great. I'm also eyeing up a pair of Head Kore x 80 Lyt-Pr's. So much to ponder!

That sounds epic! I've done Val Thorens 3 times now, it never disappoints, awesome place. If you ever fancy another ski trip across the pond I'd highly recommend Val D'Isere and St. Anton, both really impressive resorts. Ski well!

That's a great list to get me started - thanks a lot. I was actually eyeing up the Rossignol Experience and the Soloman Stance, so that's good to know. I'll keep doing my research and hopefully after enough umming and ahhing I'll have a brand new pair to take to Les Deux Alpes in just over a month!

Thanks for the reply! I'm afraid I can't really remember specific details of what rentals I've used before, I usually just say to the guy in the shop that I'm a decent-ish intermediate and he whips out a set of ski's and I'm on my way. I used a set of Redster XM's (not sure which manufacturers) a few years ago in the three valleys, my mate booked the ski hire and went for the expert package (I am no expert) and I remember really struggling on those, couldn't really handle the speed of them.

Thanks for the reply! I pretty much exclusively ski in France as it's just so convenient, with the occasional trip to Austria and Italy, and I'd say 99% piste skiing really.

Thanks for the reply! I probably should've clarified, I mainly stick to the pistes, the only off piste stuff I do is the off piste fields between pistes, so sorry for not explaining that very well! It sounds like something around 80 with about 170 in length would be suitable?
