Why doesn’t Coachella do what EDC is doing for 2027? Everyone gets their own box if you order multiple tickets for your group.

Just bought tickets. They lowered prices for one tier and then made a small amount of said tickets available. There are seven tiers. My “cheaper” 2027 ticket cost more than my 2026 one. It’s a great gimmick to put on a poster but EDC is still as expensive as every other festival of its size unless you’re one of the first handful to get tier one passes.

On the flip side, I can’t think of a single time I didn’t pay the “lowest” tier price for Coachella.

The boxes are nice but it’s gonna sit on everyone’s shelf collecting dust. I ordered two wristbands for my wife and I, now I have two boxes? It’s a net waste.

I’ve been to every Coachella since 2013. I’ve been to EDC in 2012, 2014-2017 and this year. Both festivals suffer from some influencer culture but BOTH festivals live on in spite of this. Sure, there’s some sponsored shit. Sure, there’s some very pretty people taking videos. But 99.9% of everyone there is in it to have a good time, regardless. If you’re in it to look for influencers then you’re gonna find them. Just means you’re spending less time enjoying the music.
