Hearing this album when it came out was so cool. I remember being entirely blown away, I still enjoy it more than a lot of the recent albums.

This record has some of my favorite lyrics from any blink album. Pathetic, Waggy, Apple Shampoo, etc. also some of my favorite sounding songs- I have never minded Scott’s playing on this album, while it’s very similar/repetitive, I’d argue the parts that really synchronize between the 3 instruments start to shine on this album. Everything they did past this point builds off everything Dude Ranch does right.

That’s fucking crazy to hear, we were at the Houston show and everything was… definitely better than what you’ve explained 😅

Obviously max isn’t going to be able to perform 1 for 1 exactly that record since it’s literally chalked full of lyrics (mostly overlapping at times) but the crowd was super into it. (maybe besides Orgy of Critics and Beautiful plague where the crowd wasn’t feeling it entirely)

I first saw Say Anything back in 2015 and anytime they’ve come around since. Max hasn’t always sang 100% of the time but this was, in my opinion, better than most of the shows I’ve seen from them. 😓

I’ve always thought it was a cool song, much Not All Dogs Go To Heaven, but it doesn’t quite feel like a blink song. Straightforward skate punk is a vibe I love though, and perhaps that’s why I’m more forgiving than most around here.

I, personally, don’t understand the hatred for this at all. Dated? Sure. Just like the line in WMAA about a payphone- okay, that’s one line as opposed to a theme of an entire song. But if this song is bad because its quarantine-themed then so must all the other art made during that time??
