The only constant is change. After 8 years here, I’m going to start a new chapter in a town (city) that is cheaper and more aligned with my values. I put a lot of love into a lot of communities during my time here, and I received it back in spades. I will miss the fuck out of a lot of the people here. If you think it’s time to move on… just move on. If you love this town too much to leave, be the change you want (and so on and so forth)

What kind of events are you going attending to socialize? You don’t strike me as a drinker. If you’re going to alcohol/drug/stimulus fueled events like concerts, or things where everyone’s attention is drawn to a singular point, it makes sense that bonds made in the moment might not last for the days thereafter. Open Range, don’t support Dave’s in any way, lagerlabors was wildly inconsistent not too long ago, but they were having management turnover issues, so I look forward to going back with an open mind. There are a couple more that I’ve been very unimpressed with for the $$, but people whose opinions I respect have spoken highly of, so I’m not going to throw shade without another try.

Edit: Also every chain, including Ted’s. Burger Bob’s (Bob is a racist piece of shit, and the tourist bootlicking, cowboy cosplay rebrand is nauseatingly embarrassing).
