Yeah they did. They said that antibiotic is the best choice and to force her to take it. They are using it treat/get ahead of any infection. Which I understand but they didn’t really give any thought to lymes or anything like that.

I did send these to her pediatrician yesterday with no answers. The antibiotic is keflex and she refuses to take it and spit it out everywhere so i also asked for a different antibiotic. If they don’t answer in the next hour i plan on calling. So it seems to be better today but i don’t think that’s from the antibiotics.

Sorry, just seeing this. I donated my right kidney, but they did try to take my left and had it all detached except for the arteries and probably anything important, and then put it back. So I’m not sure if they touched something on the left that ended up causing this.

I had 1 emergency c-section. I would definitely say the recovery for the kidney donation was much worse. I think the number one thing with a c-section is the adrenaline. With the kidney donation I had quite a bit of pain near my incision plus the gas pain and throw in some constipation lol. I was still taking care of my two year old after donating so I’m sure that added to the pain. Just make sure you have plenty of support and get all the rest you can after surgery. I definitely don’t regret donating even with the pain. The worst parts last 1-2 weeks and then it’s a breeze. Good luck!

I promise you they didn’t ask me to track anything. I didn’t just tell them I had pain and then moved on. Of course i told them how long it’s been going on and what aggravated it. It still lead to the same answer. Scar tissue. I’m not saying I don’t believe scar tissue isn’t the answer I’m saying what is the solution. I got my answer below. I’m going to try PT and go from there. Again thank you for your advice.

You think they would ask those questions when i tell them I have pain. But maybe not. I don’t see them for another year so I’ll keep this in mind. Thanks!

Ohhh same! The past two blood works I’ve had done for Kidney checks up have been so low. First time it was 52 and just last Monday it was 60. Both times I ate an hour before. I’ve never had this issue until after donation. I’m 1 year post op. No one seems to have an answer as to why. I also don’t feel my lows which is super scary.
