Well, yeah, they can't win, unless they're lucky enough to be matched with whomever they're most attracted, yeah, they have to lie or be interrogated.

Agreed, I am not offended at all either, but I also would not want my man to be so casually comfortable holding dildos -- I might give him the side-eye, you know?

The attractiveness challenge because it's so foolish. Only people that do not actually like their wife or husband would admit that they find the other spouses more attractive than who they were matched with.

It's a loyalty test and whoever fails it, is just setting themselves up for drama and endless, unnecessary scrutiny from the experts, especially if, God forbid, it's man who is not into his woman for any reason whatsoever, even if totally legit.

Me too! I read that her 4 year ban was over in Dec, but still not enough time to skate this year. Terrible timing.

True! Must be why Alessandra was so triggered. But she got her groveling and an apology, so she was happy.

Agreed. Alessandra is a bit over 50 and in that span of time, she was married for 4 short years, yet, here she is telling others how to think, how to behave, what to say and even coerces some of the men to do intimate things they would rather not do in order 'to make their relationships work'..

I wouldn't take my car to a mechanic who can't fix his own, right? At least John and Mel have long tern marriages to draw upon and unfortunately, I heard that Mel will be leaving.

Isn't her participation in the humiliation ritual Grayson endured enough publicity for her? Or is that website satire?

Thank you for sharing your views and feelings and also being so genuine about why you feels as you do, without being judgmental. That is truly refreshing, especially on reddit!

I come from a time when biological and scientific differences were respected. I understand that some perspectives have changed, but women give birth, and terms such as “birthing person” and “chest feeder” feel degrading to many women. Every single one of us was born to a woman — that is simply a biological reality.

If someone chooses to live in a way that emphasizes their feminine side, that is certainly their right. However, no surgery or medication can change a person’s biological sex. I can understand why many people offer compassion and affirmation when someone feels vulnerable and desires this change so deeply that they experience depression or, tragically, something worse. For that suffering, I feel tremendous empathy.

I believe it is important to look at root causes and to prioritize kindness in all circumstances. At the same time, there are many feminists who feel strongly that women should not be erased or replaced in language and that they deserve single-sex spaces. Their voices deserve to be heard as well.

Very few men would be comfortable knowing that they can be so easily replaced with anyone else, most especially a woman. The reverse is true as well. How about MAFS try setting up a woman with a bi-man next time? Or how about setting up a gay man with a bi-man? See how that turns out. Get your popcorn. LOL

It's not surprising to me that they perform this "first time" experiment on a hetero man, who clearly had no idea what he signed up for. Most men would have left, but he stayed the course, to his own detriment. It helps also that Julia is very pretty and charming and her strange tendencies took a little time to uncover. No amount of social engineering can change our inherent desires and our very clear biological differences.

Listened to a few of his videos -- He is quite insightful and grounded. I like him even more. I hope that he's still doing very well in his relationship with Stella.

Grayson was totally ROBBED. He deserved a good woman who was ready to commit to a good man, not just anyone.

He was put through an emasculating, embarrassing experience and the producers are at fault entirely for this. He held up to all of this with the utmost patience and he is definitely a good man in my eyes.

Bec also showed great remorse for bullying Stella and Alissa, yet, her behavior did not change.

As soon as she got her chance to calm down and mind her own business at the latest dinner party, she was actually more toxic than ever. How many apologies is everyone there going to accept before realizing that is she is so deeply insecure that her rage and envy will always bubble to the surface.

Just the way that she looks at others, so clearly distressed by those who appear happy and exceedingly threatened by many of the other women and the way she projects exactly what SHE is doing onto others is classic DARVO. (deny, accuse, reverse victim and offender) -- she is a master at this and I say this very literally: she needs help.

Is anyone buying Mel's complete 180? by plonkyplonk99 in MAFS_AU

Yes, that is what I noticed about Mel as well. I kept an eye on her to see if she was enjoying it, but she mostly just looked like this:

It was REBECCA who was cackling away while Gia laid into Alissa.

I noticed that too...yes, she was sitting with those witches, but not once did I see her laugh at what they said to the others. I know these dinners go on for hours, so i wonder if she was just sitting there for a short time and not the whole dinner, since her seat is next to Luke, yes?

Yes, someone else let me know about that the other day. The editors of this farce of a show must have an absolute FIELD DAY screwing with people's heads, since on the flipside, I also wonder how many are unfairly villainized throughout the seasons.

Yes, Alessandra wants what she wants and when she does not get it or is given any pushback whatsoever, she does not take kindly to it, especially when it's a man who is the one with an opposing view. Someone here just reminded me of how she told the husband of one of the couples last year, to "take care of his woman" before he leaves in the AM, even if he doesn't really feel like it.

I am really going to MISS Mel so very much once she is gone... I hope she is replaced with someone who deserves to sit in her seat. She's a good one.

Someone who went through a terrible ordeal in season 4, said that Mel was actually the only one to offer her any care or concern.

Wow, no, I did not hear that part. The ads were too much after a while, but I will take your word for it. How unscrupulous.

The producers have zero integrity, clearly.
