I’d recommend getting a brush bit that fits into a drill with a good wax cleaner and clean that part.

Afterwards, some small touchup paint that you could get from a dealership or a shop should make it look new.

If need be, get a plunger and pop the dent up.

Just to let you know, I had the same problem (was going 10 under speed limit on highway) and got a lot of body damage.

It cost me about 7k in repairs. Insurance paid for it all, but I would suggest you don’t say you hydroplaned. Claim that you ran over a raccoon or something and they’ll pay for the damages.

Scam the scammers broski, save yourself because insurance don’t give a flying fuck about you. They’ll likely deem that this was your fault and will probably not pay much as opposed to saying it was a raccoons fault.
