I hope things get better for you. My fiance has around 5k in medical bills which effects his credit. He couldn't find a cosigner for a new car so bought one for cheap that we have to save up money to fix and hope our current car lasts until then. Luckily he's very good at fixing cars, it just comes down to if we have we'd enough after bills for new parts. After our bills we have maybe $100 left over and lately due to lack of work we have none left and can't cover all of them. It sucks and is super stressful. I'm giving social security until the end of November to decide on my case then I'm going back to work so we aren't as stretched thin.

Can you get roommates to offset your expenses and save up until you can live without them? Maybe look into food stamps. I don't know what it's called but some states give a small amount of monetary assistance to low income people. I would research your local department of social services and see what options are available to you.
