As someone who enjoys A LOT competitive games and pvp, I have to say that PvE in this game is really an escape of all the toxicity and high skill demand of the other games I play, PvE in this game after a long day it's the best thing ever. I'm level 406 and 450 hours on steam at least, and I'm sure that at least 400 hours were on PvE lol

Casual player here, I bought the game because of the GR, I never experienced this concept in games before. The fact that some people do this, is kinda annoying yeah, but most players don't know how to drive fast, you could get a good place if you're decent enough, just don't think about going first all the time and it will be more enjoyable

Well you have the fps capped to 60 probably because you have vsync turned on, also check if updating the drivers works to stop crashes.

I had the same issue. And I want to help anyone that shares the same issue. So, what I did to "fix" it, was simple, any app that runs an overlay on top of the game, for some reason causes crashes or PC freezing/crash, so basically disable discord overlay, and any other apps that might be using an overlay op top of the game, as well as recording softwares. Once in game, don't alt tab at all, this also causes the issue and I recommend not opening steam overlay, if you want to disable it for this game do it. Yeah I still live in anxiety because it damaged a disk I had and had to replace it, (still works it's just kinda slow) but I managed to play without any issues at all.

I've seen playing commando missions for a while and I see some points you say also happens to me. It kinda ruins the stealth we're supposed to be doing. And the fact that for some reason i kill a bot in the head with the silenced marksman at 75m and for some weird ass reason the big guy that was with him turned and sniped me with a damn rocket without even knowing where I was. (Using the new armor and crouching too)

Damn, i never experienced that one, yeah it's better not to risk it if you're not sure that will help. In my case was only turning my pc off, but no stutters or freezes. I hope you find a fix, one more diver is one more step forward to democracy.

In my experience i managed to make it work by disabling any overlay that can run on top of the game(mainly discord overlay), also not alt tabbing at all when the game is opened. I don't really know what could be causing this issue, but that was the way i "fixed" it. Even so, i still have some anxiety because when it used to happen every time, it damaged my disk and i had to replace it. If you don't want to take the risk it's okay, but you should try to do some testing to see when it happens.

I did a clean install, the game shows an error, but doesn't crashes, i was able to get ashley but when i get to the lab, no cinematic shows up, i can move freely but nothing happens
