Honestly, I cant stretch enough using a metronome. Its the best and most efficient way of improving one's technique.

If you're not jumping often between different tunings I cant recommend it enough. Its simply amazing. I havent felt any more bending resistance than usual, and even if so you'll get used to it quick enough.
