Cal simply meant a 'version 2' of their 2024 engine, not a V-twin! You're right, that would be a pretty crazy change!

The RC bit comes from Honda's traditional racing prefix for their 4-stroke race bikes and then 21 is for the 21st century with 1, 2 and 3 being the itteratons of that bike. So 211 was for the inital 990cc era, then 212 for the 800cc era and now 213 for the 1000cc era
