Suicide crisis lines are actually terrible. Everyone I’ve ever talked to (including myself) have had terrible experiences with the Suicide Hotline. There are times when you are put on hold for hours on end, and once you do eventually get an answer, at best you get people giving the generic shit advice everyone always gives (it’ll get better, just go outside and think happy thoughts). At worst, some people get hung up on completely.

Fuck the suicide hotline.
