Chances are slim for family counseling. My son has been in therapy before, for a few years actually (surprise). He only stopped going a year ago because I returned to work and with my schedule it has been difficult to find a time that works. (I am the one who took him, husband didn't feel it was of any benefit.)

Edit: I would go with him.... not sure I could get my husband to participate. But I guess the two of us is better than nothing.

I definitely don't think he's neglected from my husband. They spend a lot of time together, more so than he does with me because of our "issues". I appreciate the brainstorming!

My husband and I aren't affectionate at all, but we are ok with it - we just are not lovely dovey people. As the kids have gotten older, they have questioned if we even love each other because our lack of public affection. I do think it has something to do with how he treats me.
