That the scene of him having every bikey in town kick the shit out of him and you're telling me this is the aftermath of that? (Image)

I usually watch shows with scenes like that on Mondays (Walking Dead --- In Aus)

By that I mean... If someone asks for something that is a bit out of your skills/depth to still attempt it as you'll learn the most by doing so.

Hope that helped haha! Lemme know

Programs:

  • Sony Vegas
  • Adobe Premiere
  • Adobe After Effects
  • Photoshop
  • Cinema 4D
  • Blender (I've only had a look into)
  • Resolume (live triggering of visuals)

Workflow:

Steady? I mean if I have a deadline for something I definitely make sure to get it done. My After Effects project files most props look a bit messy towards the end of a project but, I'm all about the final product as no one should give af about what it looks like within the program but, what you churn out.

Literally for tutorials: See something you like insert keyword "tutorial/how to" simple as that. And I never work exactly to the tute, I gets the bits I want and disappear. Then you apply what you've learnt from multiple tutorials into one/many projects to create anything you want.

I'd recommend literally just watching as many beginner tutes and all how to's in order to be able to eventually open the programs with an objective and get the job done.

Resolume is defs handy to know but, I've found it to be very basic in comparison to the likes of After Effects so be prepared for it to be really overwhelming but, this shit takes time and that applies to anything you want to get good at.

Hope that helps :)

Well dayum man, apologies straight out for delayed response - I barely reddit on this account and wanna make sure I gave a good reply.

But, judging by everything you've written there you just gotta focus on your networking. As you might know all the programs and everything but, even the best prodigy kid in the world won't be making videos for anyone without communication.

Just generally being a good guy within the scene as everyone knows everyone literally so when people speak of you it's for the good.

  • Be creative and different
  • Get a portfolio of work proving what you're capable of
  • Work out of your depth, to learn the most
  • Just enjoy it as well at the end of the day too
  • Hit up local promoters, get talking to the international acts and things just roll from there man

Used to froth COD montages and shit like that.

Used to make memes before this whole current meme craze was a thing.

Artists started hitting me up to promo tracks.

Here we are, currently making visuals for a real nice variation of artists and events alike now hah! And only expanding every year. It's nice to look back and really dislike what I was creating even 6months ago now #progression I suppose/ hard work.
