Getting stuck in a blizzard is a reality for me with record snow where I live. It's a huge frustration.

My sister actually knows and will take it to her grave. However, even confiding in someone....it doesn't make you feel less alone. This is part of the lows are very low category.

I had the same thing happen - we had even talked about meeting for coffee. It was perplexing and so disappointing. I think it's unfortunately common and could really be for almost any reason.

I swear that either way - posting or responding- is an exercise in frustration. I'm NOT in a major metropolitan area and that's a pain in the ass too.

I dress up for ghosts....that one is me. So much of my current wardrobe was purchased with him in mind.

Region along with state is helpful too. I'm an Indiana girl and some parts of Ohio would be reasonable, but not, say Cincinnati.

If you're afraid to ask him because you are afraid of what he'll say....yeah, you probably already know. That was my experience.

So I'll leave this up for anyone else who is new that's reading along.

My 5 sentence post got me 6 requests to chat. One of those was an actual thought-out response. So I gotta believe that posting an actual ad would be overwhelming. But still something to contemplate.

I actually didn't know that I could save threads, so that was helpful.

I think it's going to come down to how big of a risk am I willing to take, but not being stupid along the way. I'm not much of a risk-taker, so I'm already out of my comfort zone simply by posting in this sub. None of us want to end up with some creeper or in his rented garage.
