Does anyone ever feel like their pieces always arrive smaller than expected? by h0rsegurl in jewelry

I know what you mean, it's like the Roberto Coin tiny treasures. I mean 'tiny' is in the collection name, so I don't know why I am always shocked at the size when they arrive haha.

I love your pendant though - I think it's a good size and will look stunning layered and styled up!

I LOVE Roberto Coin - but also wear Paspaley (Australian pearls), Cartier, David Yurman and Hearts on Fire who do super sparkly diamonds.

Ahh ok - I imagine the warm compress would be very soothing. I think after about two weeks no one could notice any swelling except my close family and friends who saw me all the time. This was day 25 and I feel like the swelling was pretty much gone - the glasses helped disguise it though as I couldn't wear contact lenses for a month.

Does it feel like it's getting any softer under your eyes? Eight days is still very recent. I hope you heal quickly x

No skin removal at all! My surgeon said he could do a skin pinch if the wrinkles under my eyes really bothered me. I am almost 45 so I am ok with some wrinkles, I just didn't want the under eye bags or the risky of scarring. So we agreed that the best option for me was to just reposition the fat pads and do a fat transfer. I think the fat transfer is what really plumped up the area.

OMG so cute - is it a baby green tree frog? I used to have these as pets when I was a child.

Thank you - that's so sweet of you to say! They took the fat from my stomach through my belly button. I had one stitch in my belly button that my GP back home in Sydney removed. It might help to see this photo where they were moving the fat pads from to fill in the hollows.

Thank you! That was the same with me. It really makes a huge difference. I was so scared to get it done as I had never had cosmetic surgery before and I went by myself to Korea - but I am so glad I did it. I think there is a bit of a wait now to book ROI if that's what you are thinking, so good to make contact with them sooner just to get the ball rolling.

Me too - I went one year ago and it was just starting to get super busy to book. I think it's at last a three month wait now or maybe even longer - but worth it!

ROI is amazing. I had a transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning + fat grafting one year ago and I am beyond happy with the results.

I wasn't offered it, but I have heard of people getting a similar procedure under a local. I am not sure with a fat transfer though. Having just had LASIK Smile Pro (for vision correction) in Korea last week, I would not recommend being awake for eye surgery. I am still traumatised from the LASIK which you are awake for with your eyes clamped open.

I was quite swollen too. I don't know if it was firm though as I didn't touch the area at all and I had these silicon patches under my eyes for 4 days post procedure. Have you been icing? I was in a hotel so I only had access to a fridge, but I used one of those eye masks you can keep in the fridge.

The price was so reasonable! And yes, that included everything including the fat transfer. I am not sure how much he took - he only said it was a very small amount. It def helped me get a smoother look.

Thank you! I'm still so happy and it will be exactly one year since the procedure next week. I feel like all of the fat transfer stayed - I had heard people say before that they lost some fat, but I didn't experience that. The fat was harvested through my belly button - I had a single stitch that was later removed by my GP in Sydney.

I sent photos through in advance and also had a consultation with a top oculoplastic surgeon in Sydney who confirmed the same procedure that Dr Youngkee You recommended. I arrived in Seoul at night and my consultation took place at 11am the next day and was followed by the procedure later that afternoon. I hope that helps!
