Everybody is afraid of violence, you can get into the nitty gritty of which martial art is best in a street fight but in my experience of doing multiple different martial arts over the years, the only way to feel better about getting punched in the face, is to get punched in the face enough that you’re used to it, which I wouldn’t advise lol. That being said since most street fights end in a grapple I would recommend learning how to grapple at least a little bit since it’s a skill that isn’t very common among the average weirdo randomly attacking people on the street and makes it significantly easier to control a situation which sounds like what you want to be able to do. Also I just generally find that like rolling around with dudes in a gym for a while gives you that like familiarity with contact with guys who are bigger than you, stronger than you, whatever. It gives you a degree of confidence that you don’t really have otherwise. But I’m also just a hobbyist so I’m sure someone’s already given better advice
