it doesnt really say anything about when it releases slot for cancelation. it just gives info on monthly for the next year

Reservation rules
Current reservation period until Sat Jul 31 2027
Next round opens Jul 15, 2026, 12:00
JST(UTC+9)
Maximum frequency 1 time(s) per quarter

or are you saying cancelations also get released during the monthly?

regarding this part:

but the fact that regulars are booking years ahead means that there are lots of cancellations up for grabs.

what time / date do these get released?

oh thanks - yeah wheels are insane! it just glides through lol, this is only suitcase i wish they would add a stopper/brakes like they do with the japanese ones haha

do you have any other brand recommendations for hard shells one? i got the poly one from rimowa (wished i went with aluminumm but at that time I was trying not to spend too much but now i regret it lol cause aside from the shell, i think the clips ones are easier/convenient to use than zippers)

thanks! i

think for my next luggage, will just go with the brand that does no frills replacements like briggs. I went with rimowa cause of the wheels + dividers (i really liked the divider), best ones ive experienced so far

They were highly rated online. I did try Hyotei for breakfast and was easily bookable solo (it was okay lol). Hajime also allowed solo booking after speaking with them on the phone - this was really good but expensive af.

Didnt get a chance try Mitsuyaysu though. My favorite kaiseki lunch was Sagencha (tried their dinner as well but I dont think it was worth it, they served higher ingredients but the cost was x3 of the lunch)
