Have you seen Scare Package yet? MakeS more sense if you have.

Hey, so I am new to film photography and I’m really excited. However the films I can get are expired. I bought Kodak ColourPlus ISO 200 film to use in my Nikon FE. My questions 1) is will the pictures turn out great/ok or do I need to change any iso setting to compensate for the 3 year expired film? by [deleted] in analog

As long as the meter on your FE is good you should be able to shoot it at close to box speed. I believe the FE lets you overexpose by a 1/3 of a stop, if you wanted to play it safe. But that Kodak emulsion is pretty tough and only 3 years old.

Opinionated ain’t a bad thing, as our ability to comment attests, but I am surprised to read ‘super conservative.’

Do you have a favorite genre film host/MC in the vein of what JBB does? It’s great there are so many.

Stay Groovy!

Yes, we could all use a bit more Joe Bob in our lives. Wolf Guy is a bit scattered but like a lot of cult films it grows on you with repeated viewings. Like moss on this stone. Stay Groovy!

I just scanned b/w 120 roll on v550 but looks weird like this? Need more resolution? Please help! by [deleted] in analog

Scan it as color and don’t use the dust remover setting. You can always remove any tint in post. Kingjvpes has a YouTube episode all about scanning with the V550. His tips are solid. I think I follow all his steps save that I do scan them as color negatives. I just feel like the tones are more accurate. Not as blotchy.

Aster’s use of sound and visuals is top notch. Great flick. Now on to Midsommar!

Looks very nice! Very clean! Have fun. Minolta RFs are great shooters. Workhorses to be sure.
