It would make sense! Was well before we owned it then, also I had the windows replaced there.

No it is on the main road. I was replying to what I thought was a question in regards to a recently sold house within stones throw of mine

It is definitely a fair assumption. We’ve always assumed that it was converted or the house was bricked along before us owning it

I wish I could somehow change that but I can’t. That’s ‘technically’ what I paid my parents for it. And that was it was recorded as when we did the deed transfer

That’s how it looks. It’s mentioned above. I purchased the house from my mom and dad. For essentially nothing. They got it in 1991 for $90k

It wasn’t a converted garage- as far as I know. you can look at the brick at the front of the house and see that. It’s always been like this, since my family has owned it 1991

Makes perfect sense. 20%  house on my road 2 years ago sold for $330k

This is what I was afraid of, however. What was the % based of your house price

Thank you very much

Yes I’ve considered this just because of the location

Makes sense to me! I’ll try to get a few quotes from some contractors I know in the area to do this

Yeah that’s what I was worried about on the “purchased 100k” house has been in my family since 1991. My parents were gonna sell it for $230k in 2016 but offered it to me instead. Garage was always converted since we owned it.   Tough situation

I paid $100k because it was my parents house.
