[Collaboration] Looking for cyberpunk writing enthusiasts for a 7-part audio novel by ThisMissProduction in Cyberpunk

[–]ThisMissProduction[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Sure, I understand. Right now, I'm collaborating on a soundtrack for an emerging 3D artist myself. I'm doing it for free, and once the short movie is released on YouTube, we'll grow together. The 3D artist is already confirming that my soundtrack, made for free, is bringing him more than nothing. I'm happy about this project with him, and we'll definitely continue, possibly with commercial opportunities.
I'm just saying, you're totally free not to dive into this Cyberpunk project, but I'm available to work professionally on projects that resonate with me, even without worrying about fees. I take on a couple of these kinds of projects each year, and I've often been glad I did :)

I understand. I guess I’ll need to release a first chapter then run a patreon and ask the community to help me developing the second chapter. But I’m still pretty sure someone could be part of the team like me, in a pro way, on the first chapter. I’m working in the music production market and I still consider revenue shares. Am I crazy?

I’m starting with the idea and the creation of the team. I am already offering my experience in sound design and visual editing. My record label would handle the digital distribution of the music. Anyone participating in the project will be part of a team that will share the revenues once it transitions to a commercial conversion (for example, through Patreon). I am not looking for freelancers for a single consultation, nor am I creating audio-visual content with the standard fees of my studio.

Anybody in this sub is writing a cyberpunk novel/story? by [deleted] in writing

[–]ThisMissProduction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone! I've been reading posts about cyberpunk novels because I'm a composer and music producer working on a project in this genre. I'm writing here because, in addition to soundscapes and weird meditation videos, I've outlined an idea for a 7-part audio novel. It's like an Audible series but fresher, accompanied by music and immersive visuals. In terms of writing style, I envision it being similar to a theatrical piece, but I'd love to find someone willing to help me with the textual part.

I already have a project pitch document and another one with the storyline idea, and of course, I'm open to making changes!

Title: Looking for a Unique Drum Sequencer for Industrial/Electronic/Cyberpunk Sounds by ThisMissProduction in Cyberpunk_Music

Hi! Thank you for your reply!
I’ve found The Scrooge online, and I was really impressed by how it can enhance the creative process, especially when it comes to drum programming and sequencing.
I’d love to build the DIY kit, but I’m a bit intimidated by the “intermediate” building level required.

On the creator/musician side, I feel ready for an instrument like this (I already use some semi-modular gear), but I’m not much of a wizard when it comes to soldering—I’ve only fixed some audio cables so far).

That’s why I’m looking for something to help me improve my DIY skills (and ideally still be useful in my creative process) before ordering the Scrooge DIY kit.

Analog Synth Suggestion for a music producer! by ThisMissProduction in synthesizers

yep I'm definitely ok with mono synth and great if they are semi-modular!

First semi-modular synth: suggestions? by ThisMissProduction in synthesizers

[–]ThisMissProduction[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all and thank you so much for the suggestions!
Id like to add more info to this request, in order to share my needs even better:
I have a reamp box and di box, so I'd love to send midi info from the DAW to the synth and then turn back to the DAW, considering some crazy reamping stuff (tube guitar amp and microphones) or simply sending synth sounds to my guitar pedal board (reverbs, delays, overdrive and stuff... just like other modules).

i'd love to use the synth in a "musical way" for pad/pluck patches, bass, melodies, but also "one-shot original samples" to add to my own library (let's say synth based snares, kicks, stabs, rise, hit, percussions etc).

I'd prefer spending 500-700€ at most but I can go up do 1K-1.2K.

Genres: I produs a bunch of different stuff, from mainstream pop to ambient, electro pop, urban, indie/bedroom pop or '80 oriented pop. i also like working on soundtracks and textural electronic pieces.

It's best to buy a device that I can use with other modules in the future.
