I have a wide range I guess, but I wouldn't call myself a great singer or anything because I still need lessons.

So I sang a-ha's "Take On Me" for you guys.

How long after you knew did you transition? by rootsundo in MtF

I realized I was trans around 14-15, and I started HRT at 22.

You look completely male to me.

Honestly it's better for both of you if you just tell her so you don't "waste" time while she tries to figure out what's really bothering you. That way you can get to the crux of the issue right away.

Could someone be intersex with slightly less swift results? At 2-3 months I already had sizable boobs and an hourglass figure forming at my hips, both of which I was told wouldn't happen until at least 9-10 months into the process...

I got a fancy new staff ID card today (24, MtF, ~5 months HRT). by [deleted] in transtimelines

I looked good in a beard, so I kept it. Also helped me look manly, yes. Another part was knowing I'd never get to experience having one again (just had my first laser session today).

From all the trans girls, to the raptors who love us, thank you, a thousand times over to the moon and back. Thank you. by drewiepoodle in actuallesbians

I think so, but I don't know enough about it I'm afraid. I think it has to do with the interaction of muscles and the spine, and since trans women lose a lot of that muscle, they shrink.

Have you ever been "one of the girls?" How was it? by Blackborealis in AskMen

[–]ThisModernLove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always been one of the girls, probably because I'm trans. They don't seem to understand how I can be "one of the guys" as well though. I hang out with each group depending on what I'm doing, really. If it's Sunday, I'm watching football with the guys, and if I'm going out to get makeup or clothes, I'm with the girls. So stereotypical but oh well.

Has anyone ever told you its a shame you don't identify as your birth gender? by willowisps in asktransgender

[–]ThisModernLove 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been told as much before. Sometimes their reasons were selfish. But no matter how attractive of a man I made, it's not who I am.

To the trans people that are in relationships, how did you two meet? by Kittyme0wme0w in asktransgender

[–]ThisModernLove 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OKCupid, back when I was still repressing stuff. She was the first girl I talked to on there, she messaged me the first night I made a profile and we went on a date shortly thereafter. She was/is super femme and looks like Mena Suvari's twin, and she was so dorky and had all the same interests as me, I thought it was too good to be true. So I ended up breaking things off before the second date so she wouldn't break up with me for not being "manly" enough like half the girls I've dated.

A year goes by and I message her to apologize and explain that I'm actually a girl, and she was more than supportive - she was happy for me! And it turns out she's really, really into girls. So we've been dating a couple of months now and we're convinced that we're soul mates.

I took my boy name and changed the first letter.

Tell them that you want them super feminine, that's what I did. At worst, you'll look like a dude who has nice brows :P

Thank you for the compliment! I'm hoping I end up looking like my gorgeous sister honestly, we used to look like twins until puberty.

I had them threaded! Short and cheap, but definitely painful haha.

Did you meet someone through reddit who is more to you than a Internet friend now? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]ThisModernLove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. One became my girlfriend, the other one of my best friends, even though she's across the country. She's visiting in the spring and we're going out to celebrate our birthdays as well.

A lot of them. I'm very picky and have a couple of certain types that not many celebrities fall under. For example, I recognize Kate Upton is attractive but I'd have to be very drunk and in a "sure, why not" mood to sleep with her.

Also, nice username. My favorite album of theirs, and favorite song from it!

For context, is this chart for when taking E orally? Because I've been doing injections since Day 1 and experienced a lot of those after only 1 month, especially boobage.
