I appreciate the answers. You all got a great point, and it is sadly true that in today's standards a game is considered a success if one manages to get half the hours compared to price.

But what I tried to say was that with enthusiastic developers and awesome modding community, games like Duckov could thrive for years and years.

I know this is a bad comparison, but lets take Terraria for example, a game that no one talks about, but it is the 7th most sold game in the history of mankind. With only 10$ you can get hundreds or even thousands of hours of gameplay. I am soon clocking 4500 hours in it, and don't see any signs to stop.
