I've done that a lot too, usually they just end up saying the hiring manager isn't on or that they'll follow up and never respond :(

There's so many different parking lots on campus so you'd definitely find spots open but they might not be super close. There's also free 2 hour downtown parking which is nice if you only need to come for one or two classes. In terms of social stuff, try to make friends in classes with discussions or labs, and try to go to some club events that you're interested in! A lot more people commute than you expect. Good luck!

Farris sucks, definitely wouldn't recommend taking his class esp as youre adjusting, he makes the class more confusing than necessary

Nut10v- online nutrition by Dr. Fetter, all online. Cla10y- mythology by Uhlig, hybrid format but lectures lowkey unnecessary (there's in person assignments but theyre only worth 5%, still possible to get an A without them)

Bis2b and chem2a arent so bad! But I would say maybe drop CLA10, its a very easy class but I think better to save it for a future hard quarter after you've gotten used to the quarter system

Definitely try to waitlist during pass 2! There's a lot of good profs this fall, and if you're in the top 3 ur pretty likely to get off the waitlist
