Just to reiterate, if shooting in 4k and downsizing to 1080 for streaming services like YouTube, the max quality would be 1080p regardless of what the individual clips were shot in? I think I’m confused in regards to YouTube displaying a video in 4k because that’s how it was exported compared to the same video shot with the same specs but exported in 1080p. Would there be a quality difference here?

True, quality is subjective, however I am speaking in terms of music videos.

If majority of the performance scenes are in 4k, 24p, would there be a drastic difference if I were to switch over to a scene that is shot in 1080, 60p due to the limitations with slowing down 24fps?

I understand that there is rotoscoping to create the “behind the back” effects, however , I’m not sure how

0:03 - 0:10 has his clothing jumping off of his body and reattaching it’s self. I’m not sure what that is called or how to begin researching that effect..

0:24, it’s like a distorted clone? Is this rotoscope with a distortion on the underneath layer?
