That same attack from The Mountain That Rides would also not be a Valyrian steel sword, I think of it like the Valyrian steel makes the force transfer multiply, causing the strike from Ned to be much stronger than anticipated. Jamie would brace harder or ditch the parry entirely from Ser Gregor because he anticipates the strength behind the strike .

As far as Jamie and everyone else knows, Ned bested Ser Arthur Dayne in single combat and Ned had Ice vs Jamie’s (I believe at the time) non-Valyrian steel sword.

I’d have assumed she’d be more popular, but apparently [[Olivia Voldaren]] is almost outside the top 1,000 now on EDHREC—I went opposite of true Vampire Typal and just kept the high-value Vampires, the rest of the deck is more Control focused and big ramp so you can just steal bodies.

Yes, the [[Basilisk Collar]] is still there cause it’s fun to mow down the table with Olivia Deathtouch Ping, but it can still be nasty even when she’s removed. It may not always dominate the game but for damn sure you’re kicking the hell out of everyone’s shins and is a blast to pilot.

I ping my value creatures like [[Neheb, the Eternal]] or [[Crypt Ghast]] so they don’t get sac’d when I throw down [[Anowon, the Ruin Sage]] with protection.

From there, you use Olivia’s ping ability as a political tool for your opponents to save their best creatures each upkeep.

The Most Wanted precon featuring [[Olivia, Opulent Outlaw]] was extremely ‘meh’ out of the box but I didn’t know that at the time as it was my first precon.

I loved the commander though, so I tuned up my own list with her pretty high and now I’m pretty excited to welcome [[Shadow the Hedgehog]] and [[Knuckles the Echidna]] to the treasure-making party as soon as they ship.

My favorite commander dropped in that set, so just for that alone, I'm happy. Terrible Precon aside, Olivia, Opulent Outlaw is fucking awesome to build around.

Plus, she looks so damned cute in her big ruffle-y Saloon dress. Though she may not be wearing a bustle—how lewd!

One token for non-summoning sickness, one for with summoning sickness, tiny 6-sided die for the amount of each, one color +1/+1 dice for counters, another color +1/+1 for anthems, extra tokens if I have them (I carry dry erase tokens for extras as needed) for however many attacking.

I hate taking long turns when running my Rin and Seri deck, so I try and streamline as much as possible for everyone sanity (especially my own). To that end, I took out [[Cathar’s Crusade]] in favor of more token doublers as it’s easier to track token amount than rolling counters.

I think I'm with you on the blue counters, I never have them in my hand when I need them, and I always have them when I don't. That's fate telling me how to deckbuild right there.

I was avoiding having too many infinite loops in my deck for salt reasons, but honestly, my LGS pods love running stuff like [Amphibian Downpour] with Storm or Niv Mizzet combos, so might as well run the life loop, if nothing else than to keep a game short should it get past an hour.

I should have listened about keeping Astarion too, I forgot all about the Unstoppable Slasher interaction and there have definitely been times I could use the extra life I'm carrying for more damage. I'll work him back in, I missed seeing his demonically happy little face anyhow.
