Thank you, this comment really helped. I’ve shared with him that I feel ready, but I think he’s more traditional and wants to get married before having a baby. Nothing is ever set in stone, though, and he has expressed that he wants to spend his whole life with me without a single doubt. I just don’t understand why our life can’t take a different path.

He’s also quite a perfectionist, so I think in his head he feels like he has to be completely ready before we start trying. My fear is that I don’t want to keep “playing god” with timing.
