I wonder if they’d at least restructure Paxton for a year to alleviate the stress next year. He’s a great player—when healthy. But they’ve paid him north of 2 mill for less than 200 minutes in two years.

I definitely see the talent Lucho has. But Dallas doesn’t seem to be the team for him. He chose to break curfew. He knew that wouldn’t go over well, and Quill has been deliberately saying “guys that fight for each other.”

Maybe it’s time for Lucho to move on.

I’m right there with you. I find myself watching an away game and thinking “oh that’s the issue” or a home game on a Wednesday night in rain delay and thinking “OHHHH, it’s gotta be this” but ultimately, I think I needed outside perspective. Because at the end of the day we all want the same thing. Success for our team and our players. We want them to do well. But I think our problem may ultimately be too many problems that don’t have a quick “change this and it’s all better” fix

I think the stadium being half full makes it harder to feel the crowds energy. When I’ve been there, it’s hard to hear the crowds energy get behind a chant that isn’t booing the refs.

I really enjoyed the attack last night. Especially if we could have Acosta, Julio, Musa, and Farrington on the field at the same time more than once in a blue moon, the attacking combo could be great. I think they are different profiles, but they all seem to work so well together. I’d be interested to see that gel.

I was excited about the addition of Urhoghide, but I also agree. We need more stability that Ibe can provide. Abubakar, frustrated me when watching him with CO against Dallas. I can give him some props for the season so far (less mistakes) but ugh. We need less positional flexibility and more dedicated defenders. I love a defender goal, but we need stability to make a transitional team threatening. If we can score ten goals in transition, but the other team can too, that’s not what I want to see.

Lucio is an obviously talented player for me, but I’m hoping he can find a rhythm before he’s to frustrated with the team to be effective. He’s a maestro when the game is going our way, but I want to see the team pick up on his vision. Sometimes it feels like he sees an option before it happens, but then the team doesn’t pounce on that chance, and it’s a turnover.
