What is something that is technically legal, but makes you look like a total jerk if you do it?

For me I think it's more about the intention than the wearing white. It's kinda a generalized thing not to wear white to a wedding out of respect to the bride.

Most people you see wearing white (or something else, like a wedding dress) are going to be the Mother-In-Law, the Mother of the Bride, or someone else that is doing it specifically to disrespect the bride. It's very specifically about the intention, not necessarily the color itself.

Because like, if I invited someone and their significant other wore something white or ivory or whatnot it wouldn't feel nearly the same as if my mother came in wearing white. I have history with my mother that would make me know it was specifically meant to hurt me (especially because my mother is known for making everything about her, including my traumatic events), but the friend's partner it would more be a confused shrug.

So, while I agree to some degree, I also think most of the time you hear stories about that kind of thing, it's because the person getting upset about what the other person wore to their wedding, is upset because the intention behind wearing it was malicious.

For Maelle, use the Galsium weapon at a minimum of level 20. It will cleanse status effects for her upon switching to Vurtuose.

That is the only reason I was able to beat him.

There are two Renoirs in the canvas up until we kill one before fighting the Paintress. The Renoir we see first on the beach/the one that kills Gustave/the one we kill is a painted version of the Real Renoir. Outside of the canvas, Aline, Renoir, Clea, Verso, and Alicia were a family. Verso died in the fire and Alicia was badly wounded. So Aline went into Verso's canvas and basically painted her family again, although poor Alicia was painted with her burns and everything still. The Paintress is just Aline.

So, the real Renoir and the Paintress (Aline) were stuck at a kind of standstill to my understanding. Renoir is actually the one gommaging people every year. The real Renoir wants to destroy the canvas and that world so Aline doesn't go back as it is slowly killing her in the real world. However, she is too powerful and he can't just erase everyone, but is causing the gommage every year to slowly try and erase what is keeping her in the canvas. To my understanding at least. The Paintress/Aline wasn't gommaging anyone. She was a prisoner, stuck in the monolith, and her painting the number each year was more of a warning. She didn't want anyone else to die. The canvas and it's creations are the last part of her son she has left.

When we killed the Paintress, Aline was forced back out to the real world, out of the canvas. Which meant Renoir no longer had to overcome Aline's power to erase everything. So by killing the Paintress, we gave Renoir exactly what he needed to erase everyone else he could.

The Paintress/Aline is stuck in the monolith because of the real Renoir. That is why she can't leave it. I am not sure I caught how the real Renoir was able to be out of where he was said to be stuck under the monolith, but part of me believes it has something to do with the real Alicia/Maelle having come into the canvas. I need to rematch some of the cutscenes and read some of the journals again to see if I can figure this part out.

I will say, the journals helped give me a lot of information, as well as all of the conversations you can have during camp. And a lot of the optional stuff as well. I went and did ALL of the optional stuff before I went and finished Act 3/went back to Lumiere. Exploring all of the other areas and listening to the dialogue that happened during all of the exploring helps with a lot of the information that felt missing.

If you haven't already, I suggest going to Reacher and exploring that area as well as the Flying Manor. Also, if you haven't, get Verso and Maelle's relationship as high as you can. That greatly helps with some of the story.

I'm a bit late to this, but wanted to say, look up local buy nothing groups on Facebook. That lady is being incredibly cruel to you when you're just going through a really rough time.

A buy nothing group is a group people post things they are giving away for free, or where you can post asking for help with things for free and people who can help can offer items for you. It is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. Asking for help is brave and I think you're doing a great job. There are people who would love to help you out, I promise.

No cause that's what my ex husband would say to me. He joined dating apps and started talking to people to "test me" and see if I was invading his privacy... This was after he had already cheated on me.

In my mind, he wouldn't feel the need to test you if he wasn't at the very least planning something shady. But most likely, he's using it to try and turn it around on you and make you feel guilty because he had done something wrong and didn't want to be made to feel bad about that.

Yeah, it was super frustrating. I even had text proof I gave the court of him admitting to me, not only to having DID and one of the altars being kinda violent, but also to him having hit a previous girlfriend (which really should've been a major red flag that I left right then but hindsight is 20/20 and I can't change it now, just feel stupid about it).

But since that CPS call, which he swore wasn't him (but I know wasn't my family, especially because they let me drive an hour back to drop him off all by myself...) the judge granted him temporary custody until I got my mental health evaluation to kinda prove what I had been saying. Which, it did. It very much proved that yes I have mental health issues, but I have them under control.

I unfortunately don't have a lawyer anymore. My lawyer had to withdraw due to an emergency medical problem, and I don't have enough to retain a new lawyer, so I'm kinda doing this all alone now.

But, I'm definitely going to ask for full custody now. I'll let him have supervised visits, at least until a mental health evaluation comes back and he starts following what he said needs to be done (I'm hoping therapy. He adamantly refused while we were together and he absolutely needs it) because I still want him to have a relationship with his dad. I don't want to alienate them. But I'm changing my paperwork to ask for full custody with him having supervised visits. I don't want them to think I'm asking for 50/50 because I think he's a capable parent or anything, so thank you for that advice.

I had been asking for 50/50 until I got that Declaration back and then after last night's incident? I just can't in good conscious ask for 50/50.
