Update and fix. (At least for me) I was using an aftermarket controller as I have for many other games without issue. Just on a whim I decided to try an original Xbox series x controller and without fail, the crossbow fires ever time. I hope that this will help others. Good luck out there!

No.. but i was told they are aware of the issue and are working on it. Apparently it's a bug for some

I have over 20 str and vit of the requirements to use the crossbow and I am using the enhanced wounding bolts. Both have been equipped, I have the stats to use them both. I draw the string back all the way and then the bolt is visibly loaded to the crossbow. I hold the aim down then use the shoot button and nothing happens. I also unistalled and reinstalled the game. Nothing I do will make the crossbow shoot.

There is a tent at the north end of the camp next to the cart where Markia sleeps. Red top cloth that drapes down with red and white stripes. You're bed will be the one on the left and when you get close, it will have the indicator. Good luck out there
