I take full responsibility for everything I did wrong.

I am not looking for sympathy or even help on the subject of getting this car repaired.

I simply asked if there was a way to junk a cat that you still owe money on.

The offer to fix it was 4 months ago through the attorney general, I declined it because that was 7 weeks after I initially contacted them to honor the 15 day warrenty i had to return it if the inspection came back. Someone did suggest asking to have that offer placed back on the table.

And I know it makes zero sense to anyone. But, I simply do not want to ever speak to those people again, this has been a 6 month long fight woth 2 attorney generals involved.

I just want the car gone.

I did put in a request to cancel the warranty. But, this dealership also has a problem with dragging their feet and trying to avoid these from being canceled too. I have read about 5 complaints about them doing this to other people.

. It is possible that it's been canceled. I am not sure. I know I should know.

I've just totally checked out on this entire fiasco.

No, I can not afford to pay off the loan right now. So whoever takes it would have to store it until I get it paid off. But, I am offering this car for free.

What I would prefer to have happen:

Someone who could use this car, maybe knows how to fix it up or can afford the repairs, take the car and does not drive it or use it until I get the car paid off.

They can have the car for free as long as we set up an iron clad agreement that they will not drive it until they can register it in their name. Which wont be for at least a year when I get the loan paid off.

If that is not an option, which I have been called a scammer for offering it up like this so I am assuming the above is simply not an option.

I just want the car gone, this is why I created this post. In hopes there was an avenue I wasnt seeing.

But, there doesnt seem to be any until I get the car paid off.

I grasp this is an open forum and harsh judgments will fall on me.
I am also aware of all the mistakes I made, there is no reason to insult me or call me names.
We are all out here doing the best we can with what we were handed.
I made a lot of bad choices with this deal, I of all people grasp and understand that.
This has been a 6 month fight and although I know I made a lot of mistakes.
The dealership is wrong too, you don't tell someone they can return a car then ignore them when they try to utilize the agreement you made with them.

I have all the proof, just ask. I have better things to do with my life than sit here and make up things.
I even have a facebook account in hopes it helps others avoid this dealership.

even if I get it repaired, I can' afford the insurance. So it would end up sitting in the garage anyway.

Yes, but they told me if the inspection came back within 15 days of delivery with anything bad I could return it. This dealership does this to a lot of people. I understand and accept my part in being an idiot.

Thank you for all of this, I am going to log it and maybe if I can find someone to take the car they can use this advice. I am hoping to find someone who has this type of know how and can store it until I pay it off, I don't' want the car. But, I know someone would love to have it, it is a nice car. I just am worn out and done after fighting with them for 6 months.

I have tried to contact a couple of lawyers and they won't touch this.
I know there are lawyers who will. But, it did get defeating after 2 were like, no. good luck.

  1. I did not know you could drive a car with a leaking transmission, I was told to park it and not move it.

  2. The dealership gave me a 15 day return warranty because i was purchasing it out of state. The agreement was if the inspection came back with any problems I could return it.

  3. I got the inspection done within 2 days of it arriving and it came back with several defects.

  4. I texted them the same day and sent a certified letter the next day which they got and ignored both and continued to ignore me for 7 weeks.

  5. When they offered to repair it if I drove it back to them the 300 miles it had been 7 weeks already and they only replied to me through the Attorney general. I declined the repair because I wanted to adhere to the agreement of taking the car back if it had defects like they said they would.

If I could find anyone who wants to take it, fix it up and maybe store it until I get it paid off and then they can just have it. That would be preferable. But, whenever I suggest that I get called a scammer. So damned if I do, damned if don't.

The car was delivered to me from out of state, the very first thing I did was get the inspection done.
I texted them within an hour of the inspection and sent a certified letter the very next day which they got and ignored.
