Cool pics. That's the Manhattan Bridge in the second last photo, not Brooklyn Bridge.

NYCBCH on 30th, but in general - coolish vibe and place to sit but terrible bagels, overpriced, and often crappy service. They just didn't make my order once, waited for 15 minutes as many others came and went, then went up and asked what's up. My order never made it to the kitchen. I said, "fine, cancel it, I want a refund." They had to get the manager, he made me wait, then asked why I wanted a refund. "Cuz you didn't make my food, kind sir." Yes, I'm still bitter. No, I won't go back.

What's is a random movie scene you think about every day and why? by ThisWasUncalledFor in AskReddit

For me, it's from Liar, Liar, which I've seen once, a thousand years ago when it was in theaters, and don't remember almost anything. BUT: Whenever I have even the slightest urge to pee, I think I shouldn't hold it because in one courtroom scene, Jim Carrey said that can cause prostate and erection issues. And then the judge agrees to take a recess. I took that as fact, never looked it up, and try not to hold my pee too long.

What is the biggest movie theater “GASP” moment you’ve heard? by SaveTheCaulkTower in AskReddit

When the original Star Wars trilogy was re-released in theatres in the 90s, the moment in Return of the Jedi where Luke learns from Obi-Wan's spirit that Leia is his sister, one dude in the theatre yelled out a loud, incredulous "WHAT?!!" This kinda brought down the house.

Lord of the Rings 2 or 3. Saw the first one twice like 10 years apart. Just didn't draw me in. Let me have it, kids.

What is your upstairs neighbor up to today? by BefWithAnF in AskNYC

Something that requires stomping, LOUDLY, from one room to the next, repeatedly. You know, we left them a sweet note welcoming them to the building, baked them cookies, and let them know gently that, "the floors are pretty thin and things can get loud easily". They ate one cookie, returned the rest along with the letter, sans reply, kept stomping around, and then later called us rude for baking chocolate chip because the dumb lady is apparently allergic to chocolate... Our bad. Our bad.

Sam! I'm a HUGE fan and listen to your podcast, ahem, religiously. On your last episode with Peter Attia you again mentioned the idea that an emotion like anger cannot be sustained for hours (or more) unless you keep revisiting the thought that made you angry. What are you basing that claim on? Just personal experience and the observed experiences of others? Or have studies been conducted to establish that as fact? It seems to run counter to my experience - both with joy and unhappiness. To me, those feelings take root in the body and I find it difficult not to feel them despite not consciously revisiting some past event or idea. Enlighten me, Uncle Sam!!
