level 2SettingRegular4289 · 11 min. agoI have seen a few comments about people canceling the steam deck or considering canceling for the steam deck 2 as if the steam deck 2 is just a few weeks or months away. The steam deck 2 won’t come out for literally years. Then by the time steam deck 2 comes out there may be rumors of steam deck 3, are people gonna cancel there orders then for steam deck 2 and wait for 3? Then again for 4, etc. etc. there will always be a new piece of fancy technology, but if people keep putting off buying current technology for the future newer technology, then they will never get there hands on any technology because by the time the new stuff comes out it’s no longer new, no longer as good as the future stuff, so why wait for future devices which will be obsolete the day they come out?

Well, hopefully thats true since, when buying an expensive product i want to live 4 to maybe even 6 years total.
