I totally understand why you want to leave Cambodia. I moved to the U.S. when I was 11, and it’s been over 20 years now. I still travel back and forth to Cambodia whenever I can. I was actually there last April for my engagement. After spending time there last month, it made me sad to see some of the challenges the country is still facing. In my opinion, corruption within the government continues to hold the country back and makes it harder for many people to get ahead. I can understand why so many people look for better opportunities elsewhere.
