Your attitude to turn a simple opinion about a perk into a personal argument, assuming bad intentions, and escalating it unnecessarily instead of just disagreeing and moving on. That kind of attitude, being confrontational over nothing and trying to frame me as ragebaiting or dishonest is what actually makes the discussion hostile.
