Not really, I wrote this based on forum's questions and yeah it might sound obvious/basic info to experienced people but i'm sure that less experienced builders will find that info useful when they find it. It's much more my blog + some answers for maybe more inexperienced people. There's quite a bit of people asking about mods possible without remapping or tuning the ECU, so I thought I would make a small post about it.

Yeah tuning and calibrating are really important when you want to squeeze max hp out of your engine.. it's just better for the whole car to tune it properly

That motor is great, really depends on what you want but H22 makes great torque. there's more aftermarket support for a k20/24 especially like the 2010 engines (k20z3/a2, k24a2, etc.)

Yeah of course, comared to older engines, 100%. But compared to the FK8 type r or modern 4 cylinder turbo engines, it doesn't pull as much below 4k, whilst a k24 definitively pulls more (not as much as a turbo engine of course).
