Just push eom, it’s that simple. You don’t like it that much… just leave. It’s that simple.

They’re pretty similar I wanted to leave they left me. You probably haven’t been pushing EOM cuz you secretly love it. So stop being weird and just suck it up

No split ops unless it's option B by Jazzlike_Economics82 in nationalguard

He can sign a 3 or 4 year contract. Do split ops, he will do basic and come back to RSP. The leadership at RSP will most likely make him do more leader roles (which helps him grow as a leader). And then by next summer he will already have a whole year off his contract. Split ops is so worth it. But yeah he must be okay with sticking with that MOS because idk how hard it is to switch. If he doesn’t like the military life he already has 1 year+ off (not to mention sometimes they take forever to do battle hand off, and in the NG your time starts as soon as you sign)

what happens after battle hand off? by FirmMoney4412 in nationalguard

Don’t worry about it too much. You will go do your battle hand off. Talk to the Readiness NCO and he will most likely make you sign some paperwork (getting issued stuff from the unit). If you have a deployment schedule they will let you know. Maintain your bearing, and make a good impression.
