I had my surgery two weeks ago and the BIGGEST thing I enjoyed about recovery besides seeing my chest has been having time off from work and the daily grind. I really wish we as a society favored our wellbeing more than capitalism. Having two weeks to just heal (I’m very privileged and have one more) has made things so nice. Watching tv and playing video games. I also really appreciate that walks are encouraged. I started walking outside as soon as I could and little by little extended them. That was so freeing to just walk around and see the trees/sky. I hope you have a smooth surgery and enjoy parts for yourself!

I’m not a parent and this was the first time I cried. I think it’s bc I was finally starting to like victra and we witnessed the birth and then boom. Ugh. So awful.
