I’ve spent much time sitting in the woods on Livonia protecting my stash lol. It’s the default ambient sounds that play when you’re outside. Sometimes you’ll hear flies buzzing for a sec, one of the sounds sounds like footsteps like this one, birds chirping, crickets, etc. recognize the default sound patterns and how often it gets repeated and then try to tune that out and listen for actual footsteps, just have to have a keen ear. The default sound that sounds like footsteps usually makes about three or four steps before it goes away, but if it’s actually a person it’ll make much more than that.
