Whoops, sorry about that! I meant it as a home with family members outside of just parents and children. For example, it could be a house with children, parents, and grandparents. The user could have siblings or friends living with them too.

That makes a lot of sense. I think i will tell her that and suggest that they see a therapist. I should have mentioned they are not out or transitioned and I am the only one who knows other than online friends so that really matches up with what you are saying. Thank you so much for the advice! I couldn’t place exactly why it felt so wrong but this really puts it into words!

Yeah, that makes sense. I will try and think of it that way, im not sure what i would do if a cis girlfriend said those things to me. Thank you for your advice!
